Sultan Sulu issue in Sabah


Latest in Sabah the issue on 'Sultan Sulu' was and still a focus topic for among many people.
This was made known publicly in last year news and then again brought to attention in early February 2011.
Then someone is trying to claim himself as 'Sultan Sulu' in an unofficial installation mentioned in Sapp Websites under the topic "Sultan Sulu coronation in Sabah" at http://www.sapp.org.my/hq/110208_ytl_sultan_sulu_coronation.asp .

Thereafter follow on, SAPP questioned on what CM Sabah should do about the claim and in relating to Sabah sovereignty as published in FMToday news as below...
KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) wants to know how Chief Minister Musa Aman will deal with the self proclaimed “Sultan of Sulu” who is residing in Sabah.
SAPP deputy president Amde Sidik said the party was puzzled by the delayed response from Musa on the matter, which had become a hot issue among Sabahans.
“The so-called proclamation of the Sultan of Sulu happened in Kampung Likas here and not in Jolo, in the Southern Philippines so why is the government not taking any action since it has created a lot of confusion and fear among the locals?

And that later was followed with several reports made to police upon which police had started an investigation by calling in the 'Sultan' with his family and those involved for recording statements.
The 'Sultan' too with his men making a police report to clarify and explain their standing in denial about the installation.
